Figaro is a very sweet kitty who loves to play laser light. He is loving and loves attention. He doesn't seem to be afraid of dogs. He would really love to be adopted with his sister, Cherubino.
Adoptions are restricted to a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA and young kittens must go to a home with another playful cat or to a home that already has a feline playmate- kittens are NEVER adopted out as only-cats in the home.
Figaro was trapped by a Cat Shack Volunteer on her grandmother's property in the Northampton, PA area. Upon input, he does not seem to be aggressive, accepts being petted, but is understandably frightened and withdrawn at the moment. Another kitten has been spotted with him (a Tabby), who we believe may be a sibling. Efforts are continuing to trap her as well.
Figaro has been tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been dewormed and given a flea treatment.
8/15/16 UPDATE: Figaro's sister has been trapped and transferred to me, and named 'Chrubino'. They are now together again.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
