Sadie's Story...
Sadie (CC) is extremely highly strung, we think she may have been abused. She is an excellent personal guard dog, extremely protective of her foster. Prefers females at this point. Foster feels she needs some down time and rehabilitation. She is extremely intelligent, and would make an excellent police dog. She is housebroken, as far as we can tell. Sadie would make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking for protection. She is ok around other dogs, but may not be good around kids or cats. Adopt a SAFE dog. Our dogs are vaccinated, altered, and microchipped prior to adoption and since no shelter can, guarantee a animal's health, each dog adoption includes a free month of health insurance! If you are adopting a dog that is at least four months old, the adoption fee includes a one year rabies license for Pima County. LIKE LOOKING, BUT DON'T WANT TO BUY? Become a FOSTER parent and save dozens of animals each year! SAFE pays for your foster animal's food and veterinary care. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a tucson Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in tucson, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
