Rowe is a 2 year old lab mix who found himself in a shelter all alone.  No one came to claim him.  He is a very nice dog, calm and great with other dogs.  Rowe weighs 50 lbs.  He is neutered, chipped, HW free and updated on his vaccines.  The shelter personnel loves this guy. He is in a foster home now and this is what his foster says:

He’s doing well. LOVES doggie daycare. He plays non-stop and is exhausted when he gets home. He is super Velcro in the house, but would do better with a fenced yard because once outside, he forgets about us and wants to explore. He’s okay with the cats but more interested that normal and would definitely chase them if they were outside.  He needs some work on leash walking.  Had an accident or two at first, but is housebroken now. Children over the age of 10 are recommended for Rowe.  Great in the car. No issues with guarding food or toys. A little mouthy during play, but stops when you tell him no. The only time he’s crated is during “nap/lunch time” at daycare. He sleeps in the bed and prefers to be next to you on the couch.

About Burlington County Animal Alliance

About Our Rescue Group...

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have weekly adoption events at PetsMart every Saturday from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Eastgate Square Shopping Center, Rt. 38, Moorestown, NJ and PetsMart, 62 Centerton Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.
