Miss Ellie is another elegant beauty saved from Quebec! Sadly, Ellie's owners decided they no longer wanted her and surrendered her to a high kill pound. At age 11, this senior sweetie's chances of rescue were slim. Until KLAWS learned of her situation! In May of this year, our sweet Ellie was saved from euthanasia and made her way to safety with her KLAWS foster fam courtesy of the Freedom Drivers.

Due to her age and low weight, blood work was completed. We discovered that Ellie has an issue with her kidneys. A change in diet was recommended. Currently, Ellie is served Royal Canin k/d and eats very well. She likely will need to remain on this diet.

Miss Ellie will require some dental work but our vet doesn't feel her teeth are an emergency. She will be vaccinated once she is at a healthy weight. Her teeth will be reevaluated at that time as well. Ellie's dental work and vaccinations will be covered by KLAWS.

Our lovely little lady is beautiful and has quite unique markings. Ellie LOVES her humans and is the purrfect cuddly companion! She is happiest when she's laying close to her people and has the best purr to convince you to stay near. Ellie is very clean~meticulous about her grooming and faithful about using her litter box.

Ellie is unsure of other kitties. She has tolerated sharing space with one other cat, but prefers to be the only feline. As for dogs, Ellie has had exposure to three large breed dogs in her foster home and seems indifferent to them. She uses her litter box with no issues and loves her human interactions. We truly believe there is a human for every kitty and we are confident that we can help Ellie find hers!
