Reagan (Spayed)'s Story...
"Reagan" is a beautiful female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on July 6, 2016 along with her best friends/companions (Raven, Reggie, Rosie, and Roxanne). . "Reagan" was thought to be 5-weeks old when she entered our shelter, so she has spent more than half of her young life with us. This delightful little girl has a pale gray short smooth coat with a small patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and a cute kitten face with innocent hopeful eyes. Reagan's whole world revolves around her companions, and she is very bonded with them (especially Raven and Rosie since they are about her size/age). We'd love to see them adopted in pairs or trios. Reagan, Raven, and Rosie are currently sharing a large cage in our small cat room. "Reagan" was given vaccinations and wormer on September 15, 2016. She was spayed on September 21, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Reagan" weighed 5.2 lbs. on that date. Her sister "Raven" was combo tested on December 27, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV,and heartworm .. which is also great news for "Reagan" :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reagan (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
