My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Squeaky is a female Shih Tzu mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs 13 pounds. We suspect that she was used for breeding by her former owner. Squeaky was left homeless when her former owner died and she ended up at animal control loaded with more fleas than hair. She obviously was not well cared for. She's on the road to recovery now that her fleas are history.

Squeaky gets along fine with other dogs and likes to play with her dog pals. She will sit in your lap and loves tummy rubs.

Here's her foster report after being in a new foster home for five days: She is a bit selective about her food. She is happy to let Boudreaux, the other dog in the home, have all the green beans, and as far as she is concerned, Paul Newman can keep all his peanut butter treats. However, she loves the dry kibble. Once on a schedule, she has had zero accidents in the house. She walks beautifully on a leash. She will certainly want a home where she can sleep with her humans. Other than my former Bentley who would actually step into the shower and bark demanding to be shampooed, I have never had a dog as cooperative as Squeaky for a bath.

Squeaky has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.
