Charles's Story...
Meet Charles! Charles is approx. 3 yr old weighing 19 lbs. He was left behind with a Shitzu mix at an empty house when the owner moved. That is how he came to a shelter. He has one eye glaucoma with no vision and the eye pressure is normal at the moment but it requires constant monitoring.
At his current foster home, he gained weight and shows indefinite affection towards people although he needs some training, he likes to jump on people and lick their face all day long :) We would like someone who has experience with this breed and calm him down a bit, but provide space for him to run.
He is currently in Korea and adoption decision is based on the pictures and info we provide without actually meeting him. Could you be the loving family he has been longing for a long time?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charles, a Oakton Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Oakton, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Oakton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakton paves the way for another one to be saved.
