Description: brown tabby female, small to medium size about 9 lbs.
Personality: Precious is shy, quiet, and likes to sleep on a window seat & watch birds & squirrels. She likes to climb the cat tower, scratching post, & 6 ft wooden ladder. Precious also likes to monitor me when I'm typing by sleeping on the desk in front of the monitor. She usually prefers to sleep near me, but will let me know when she wants to sit in my lap. Her meow is a "chirp" and she uses it when she hears me in the kitchen preparing her food.
She is terrified of my dog and of small children, and so should not go to a home with either. She is ideal for a person who is experienced with cats & knows they come in all personalities, including more independent and sensitive ones, like Precious.
Animal History: Precious showed up late at night at my house in mid February 2016 in 10 degree weather. She came inside and settled right in. Her owner could not be found. She was only about 8-10 months old the vet said. She adapted well to staying inside and being petted, but NOT to having a dog in the home or young children. She is absolutely precious & if I didn't have a dog I would adopt her permanently.
