My foster Mom is still trying to get a handle on what would be my ideal home. I am a little afraid of the other foster dog, who even though he is smaller than me, can be a little bully. Sometimes, I try to play with him and the other dog in the house, but then back off as though still afraid. After initially cowering when my foster Mom tried to pet me on the heard, I now LOVE human attention and really, really LOVE belly rubs. Not so keen on you looking in my ears, so we are working on that. I might need a patient groomer at first too. If my foster Mom does something I don't like, I can occasionally be a little snappy with her. Therefore I need someone in my furever home who is dog savvy and willing to be patient with me, and help me work out my kinks and fears. Probably no kids under 12 would be a good idea. I love to look out the front window and sometimes whine to go out and play with people I see outside on street, so an apartment might not be for me. I am still a work in progress, but the key is that I am making progress and waiting for my forever home that will provide me with lots of love and patience so that I can be the best dog I can be. Some obedience training to help me build up my confidence would just be icing on the cake.
