CAIN's Story...
CAIN
Cain is a gorgeous male medium size mixed breed dog, 3 years old and neutered. Cain is crate/house trained, enjoys most other dogs and may do fine with cats given a proper introduction. He would do well with another dog as a companion or as a family dog for an family with older children. Cain can be possessive of his toys and has reacted in past stressful situations so he will need an confident owner that will give him the time he needs to settle in and become comfortable, allowing him to approach new people on his own terms. In general, he is friendly and sweet!

Cain is now available for adoption. To arrange to meet him or with any inquiries please contact our adoption coordinator at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CAIN, a Winnipeg German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Winnipeg, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Winnipeg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winnipeg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winnipeg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winnipeg paves the way for another one to be saved.
