One Smart Kitty!
Our dear Mrs. Lincoln (Mary to her friends) has a piercing gaze, and a well-kept and proper black and white coat. She is also possessed of a very direct gaze, and has a clear sense of what she does, and does not like. Neck scritches are definitely on her list of “likes”, as are toys, adventures, and humans who understand that she is smart, and not to be trifled with!
She can appear a little distant at first, but with patient effort, she responds warmly. Good for a more experienced owner, Mrs. Lincoln would be happy to be adopted with one of her siblings (Bullseye or Eleanor), or on her own. When she gazes at you, it seems like she’s keeping a secret, but the secret is out – Mrs. Lincoln would be a wonderful addition to your family!
Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Indoor homes only.
Silicon Valley Pet Project works to save local at-risk shelter pets by engaging the community and by using innovative and sustainable business practices.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our pets are in foster care and can be seen by appointment.
Our Adoption Process...
Are you interested in meeting one of our available animals? Please fill out the appropriate online application on our website. We will be in contact with you to arrange a meeting with the rescue pet you are interested in.
Please note that all of our rescue pets are in private foster homes and meetings will be coordinated with foster parents. Typically, after you meet the rescue pet, we will follow up with you to see how the meeting went. If a match is made, we can finalize the adoption quickly. Please note that we may require a home check as part of the application process. Thank you for your interest in our rescue pets!
Adoption fees are between $100 - $400 depending on animal, breed, age.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
