Daizy is a beautiful 3.5 year old female Akbash. Daizy has been an outdoor dog her whole life; however, is very smart and would pick up on house-training quickly.

Daizy is absolutely loving and friendly with people, even around food.  She loves and protects children but may be too active for small children.  She tends to knock them over.  She doesn't require much exercise but a long walk at least once a day would probably be necessary if she is in the house.

Daizy need to be the only dog in the home.  She does not do well with other dogs, small or large. Daizy also tends to be rough with livestock so would not be an ideal guardian for them.  She has been known to jump fences or dig under. She loves to roam but has been successfully fenced in with a bit of creativity.

The adoption fee for Daizy is $200 which includes the spay or  neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. If you would like to meet Daizy, please call and leave a message with Lisa (Director of Four Paws Rescue) at (435) 764-3534 or email us at

Please be patient with us getting back to you as we are all volunteers with full-time jobs!  Thank you for your interest!
