Dove's Story...
Dove is a sweet 22 pound girl who is estimated to be 1 to 2 years old. Dove has recently weened a litter of pups and is now looking for her own forever home. She is house broken, and loves to go on walks. She can be a little shy at first but loves to give kisses and hang out wherever you might be. Dove has not met any cats yet but is in a foster home with several other dogs and does well. Dove was found wandering the streets a day away from giving birth and now would just like to kick back and enjoy her life. If you have room in your home and your heart for this beautiful girl, please send in an application found at www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call so you can meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dove, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
