Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Parker's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Parker's Story...
This cuddly little senior was in the "back room" of the South LA Shelter where no one could see him.

But a SLA volunteer brought him out to us and it was pretty much love at first sight.

Parker is social with dogs and people and lives with cats. He is not yappy or skittish and really....we think he's a labrador in a tiny body.

Our Founder is a "big dog person" and she is absolutely head over heels with this chihuahua....ya gotta know he's special!

Parker is eligible for our seniors for seniors program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a West Los Angeles Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
