Ammy is a friendly, happy and playful pup! She loves people and is gentle with young children. She gets along with dogs and stays calm around cats.

Ammy is a good natured, friendly and playful girl. She’s very close to humans, likes snuggling with her people as well as other dogs. As with any puppy, she needs exercise, discipline, affection and structure to learn good manners. She already mastered some simple commands; she is potty trained on pad. Ammy will make a great family companion dog!

About Ammy’s rescue:
A desperate FB message calling for help to a stray dog caught the attention of the rescuer: a small dog was beaten and chased around in the neighborhood. The rescuer picked up the battered dog (Ammy) and rushed her to animal hospital.
While being treated in the hospital for her wounded leg, Ammy started a bad diarrhea and vomiting. The vet did not think it is a good sign and warned the rescuer to prepare for the worst case scenarios. Little Ammy lying in the cage, even though very frail, wagged her tail to tell everyone around not to give up on her.
The rescuer decided to have Ammy gone through complete lab works. It turned out Ammy suffered severe anemia, her symptoms was caused by high white blood cell count. In the meantime, her injured leg was x-rayed. The verdict was that even though it wouldn’t go back to normal again, nevertheless it’s not going to affect her mobility and normal functions. Ammy regained her health after treatment in the hospital for a month or so.

Ammy is a healthy, active, and playful young pup. She is such a brave survivor! Because of her impaired leg, chances for her to be adopted in Taiwan are slim. This beautiful and lovely girl do long for a nice family which can treasure her and give her the love she’s so well deserved.
