Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Max's Story...

Max is a 3 year old, neutered traditional black and tan German Shepherd. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Max is an owner surrender due to his previous owners currently on deployment for Japan. Max is currently staying in a foster home. His foster mom reports that Max is great with kids. He loves long walks, and has been really good in his foster home. We are not sure if Max gets along with dogs due to the fact he has never been around any. We need to do some doggie checks on him and go from there. Regarding kitty cats he ignores them on his walks which is a good sign however I could do a cat check if needed.

If you can provide this precious Shepherd with a loving, permanent home he is now seeking please email me at luvgermansheps@yahoo.com

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, medical care, degree of personalized training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Green Cove Springs German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Green Cove Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Green Cove Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Cove Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Cove Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Cove Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
