Bric's Story...
Every once in a great while, a dog so amazing comes along that we just have to make them an honorary pit bull. Brick is one of those dogs. He is a five year old male Rottweiler, who has a cheerful, gentle spirit that would help fill any home with love! Brick weighs in at around 110 pounds, and has some wonderful qualities that shows he truly has a heart of gold. Brick is currently suffering from a neurological condition that keeps him from walking quite right, although he'll happily join you for a brief jaunt around the yard. Currently, his condition basically makes him look a little clumsy. He is not in any pain, and he can move around pretty well, he just seems to not want to move around a lot all at one time. Like a typical Rottweiler, though, he's perfectly happy to just lay around, get a little attention, and then just hang out. He has been around children ages 5 and up and loves getting petted by them. We are considering Brick a special needs dog, and we'll add more information about his condition and what kind of treatment he may need as we get to know more about him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bric, a Memphis Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
