Kimmie's Story...
If you have young kids and are looking for a small dog, look at Kimmie!!!! Kimmie was found as a stray dog and rescued from a crowded rural shelter. She looks like a mix of Brussels Griffon and Jack Russel; Terrier. She is in a foster home waiting for a home of her own! She is about 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds. Kimmie is very sweet, playful, and happy. She just loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home and is so happy when kids come to visit. She is great with toddlers on up, and plays gently with them. When she is done playing she loves to lie quietly in someone's lap to get some petting. Kimmie is dependably house trained, crate trained and enjoys her walks. Kimmie's adoption fee of $250 through her non profit, 501c3 rescue covers her spay, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, flea/tick preventive and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kimmie, a Osseo Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
