Super-sweet Tuxedo Kitten!

Pippa is a tuxedo kitten with the cutest mustache. Her favorite playmates are her sisters Piper and Polly, and brother Porter. The kittens and their mother were abandoned in a busy Coney Island park the day before the Fourth of July. A local animal lover noticed and rescued them, and their lives have been much happier since. The family has lived in a spacious Brooklyn foster home where the kittens had lots of space to grow, play and chase each other (under their mother's watchful eye) and they received lots of love and attention from their caregivers.

Pippa is affectionate, smart, and interested in everything. She loves people, including small children, but is so social that she must be in a home with another friendly cat. We'd love to see her adopted with one of her siblings.

Pippa is four months old, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is vaccinated appropriate to her age and microchipped. Please contact to schedule a play date, or visit the Brooklyn Cat Cafe ( at 149 Atlantic Avenue to meet Polly and her siblings.

About Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue group was formed in December 2007, but all our Board Members have had extensive experience rescuing and working with abandoned animals. We often work with other rescue organizations to find appropriate and safe foster and adoptive homes for our pet clients. We regularly go to areas with abandoned animals and collect them. The animals are taken to a licensed veterinarian examined, treated and spayed or neutered. Every effort is made to work with the animal and our foster and adoptive families to find a suitable forever home.

For those animals who are truly wild and feral, we release the animal in a safe and secure location after it has recovered from its medical treatment. We also work with certified wildlife rehabilitators to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. Our organization is focused on improving the welfare of the abandoned animals in need of help in Brooklyn. In furthering that goal, our resources are focused on the animals.

Aside from a few minimal overhead costs such as our website and phone services, our entire budget is spent on animal care such as medical and food costs.
