Sam's Story...
Sam is a NEUTERED male lab-mix. He is a very laid back dog. He would make a great pet. He has a wonderful disposition and is well behaved. He is very calm and great with children. He plays great with all his other dog pals here and would do well in a home with other dogs if you have any. He is not a hunting dog. Sam is the kind of dog to lay by your chair while you watch tv, or follow you while you do yard work. He will even let you dress him up in dog clothes. Sam is current on all his shots and is ready for a loving family. If you would like Sam to be a part of your family come by and see him or call 903-693-4983 for more information. Low adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Carthage Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Carthage, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Carthage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carthage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carthage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carthage paves the way for another one to be saved.
