"His name is Rio and he dances and does head stands
Just like that river twisting through a dusty land

Oh Rio, Rio dance across the Rio Grande."
A fluffy, attention seeking, snuggler of children. Rio will climb, play and dance into your heart. This energetic, striped kitten will dance into your heart. Give him a chance to shine. Like Duran Duran, he's unforgettable and his enthusiasm is quite catchy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

SPRG does not have a facility, all of our rescues are in our foster program. If you'd like to meet one of our rescues please follow the steps of our adoption process.

Our Adoption Process...

We follow a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a rescued pet into their homes and lives. Applications are not approved on a first-come-first-serve basis; rather, the home that seems to be the best fit for the rescued pet is chosen. The purpose of the application process is to find the best fit for a rescued pet and adopter.

Process:

1) Complete our adoption application and submit.

https://form.jotform.com/52106899780163

2) Let us know the best days and times for you to meet our rescue. We are a small group without a facility, so all of our rescues are in foster homes. We will arrange with the foster parent for a meeting.

3) After you meet our rescue and if you decide to move forward with adopting we will schedule a home visit to see where you live and interview you.

4) If you are applying to adopt a dog and you currently own a dog, we will arrange for them to meet. This may take several visits as all dogs are different and may need additional visits for a proper evaluation.

After all steps above are completed we may request for additional information, e.g. vet reference, but once we have all the information we need, the group will review, discuss and make a decision that is in the best interest of the rescue.

Adoption Fees:
Kitten Season Special (under 6mo) - $40
Puppies (under 6 mo) - $80
Adult cats and dogs (over 6mo) - $40

Our rescues are up to date on shots (by age), spayed/neutered and microchipped.
