Jackie is an owner surrender that needs to be rehomed asap. The current owner is keeping him until we can find him a suitable home. His owner is currently going through a very high risk pregnancy and has to walk up and down 2 flights of stairs to take him outside. Owner is a single mother with a 5 year old and has no other help with the dog. She hates having to rehome him but sees no other option. He is UTD on all his shots, and he will be neutered soon. He is crate trained, he is very hyper and I do not recommend young children due to him being so hyper. He needs some patience and training due to his breed and needs. If your interested please call 502-498-5258 ANYTIME. or email Unleasheddogrescue@yahoo.com His adoption fee is 135.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie, a Louisville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
