Lucy Too is a pretty senior GSD who was adopted from us back about 7 years ago. Unfortunately, due to the death of her “Dad” and failing health of her “Mom,” Lucy has come back to Rescue to find another Forever Home. As would be expected, Lucy Too is a little sad since she lost her “parents.”
Lucy Too loves people and other dogs. Her favorite pastimes are playing in the grass with canine friends, playing “keep-away,” and going for rides in the car. She loves being pampers with tummy rubs, hugs and lots of love – which she rewards with very soft gentle kisses.
Lucy doesn’t like loud noises; thunder, fireworks etc. She would do best is a quiet home where she can be physically close to her family. She could really benefit from a canine sibling as well. In fact, she’s been known to scale short fences to go in search of a dog friend to play with.
Are you ready to be the “light” of Lucy Too’s life?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.
Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
