Maximus's Story...
Meet Maximus! Maximus is a ray of sunshine on a rainy day and you wont believe what he's been through! Maximus is a 2 year old and Pit Bull Terrier and currently only weighs 39 lbs. After being tied up to starve to death at a lake, Maximus was rescued by dedicated Animal Shelter workers and nursed back to health, and now Molly's Mutts has taken on the task of finding this great boy a furever home so he'll never feel the effects of animal cruelty ever again! Maximus craves love in a way only a soul that's be deprived of it can! He's charismatic, sweet as can be, and gets along with other dogs! Maximus is also heartworm negative! We here at Molly's cannot imagine what this angel could have done to deserve the life he's had so far, but we are going to make sure that never happens again!! If you have some extra room in your heart and home, Maximus is waiting!

Adoption fee is SPONSORED and includes vet exam, vaccination, neuter, microchip, heartworm test, and monthly preventatives!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus, a Dixon Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dixon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dixon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dixon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dixon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dixon paves the way for another one to be saved.
