Lil'Momma's Story...
When the Simcoe and District Humane Society get the call that a stray mother cat and her kittens have been found and are in need of a miracle, they will be helped! This was the case for Lil'Momma and her kittens who were found by the property owner
Lil'Momma was scared and unsure whether she wanted to come into a shelter environment but she has learned with the volunteer's help that getting a little rub, some fresh food and a few cuddles are a wonderful thing. She is FIV Felv tested negative, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and flea treated and very ready to find a furrever family to love her.
Lil'Lexi, Lil'Fizz, Lil'Mia, and Lil'Murray, are a mix of grey, white, black and torti kittens who are adapting to domestic life very well. The kittens have a great appetite and love to cuddle and climb with one another, and with their kennel staff.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lil'Momma, a Simcoe Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Simcoe, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Simcoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simcoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simcoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simcoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
