Penny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Penny's Story...
Penny is a sweet soul who was redlisted at the North Central Animal shelter to make space for other incoming dogs.

She is so easy to have around the house; very calm and patient, always friendly towards guests coming to visit, and relaxed across the board (happy with kids too). We are particularly impressed by her excellent manners around food – you can pull that treat right out of her mouth and she won’t mind.

Penny loves to go for walks and can walk beautifully on leash, also around other dogs and people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a West Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
