Poppy is an older little fella found abandoned in the heat and taken to a local vet. CMDR was contacted and sure we welcomed him into our rescue family. Poppy has cataracts and is blind but can see shadows. His foster mom has been treating his eyes with 100% pure coconut milk 2 times a day and his eyes are improving. Super sweet, potty trained, loves tummy rubs, fully vetted with a great smile and a rock n' roll attitude!!! Poppy is looking for a family that likes to have fun and has time for kisses and tummy rubs. For more information contact: 702-238-4453
This rescue is named after two very special dogs that I was blessed to have in my life. That the universe found me to be worthy of such a gift is forever humbling. This rescue is their legacy. It is based on Connor and Millie's sheer tenacity and determination to survive; their desire to love, be loved, and the ability to forgive. Please join us in this mission to seek out and provide hope to the Connors and the Millies struggling out there and gift them a destiny.
Our Adoption Process...
Home checks are done before dogs are adopted and a contract is signed stating that dogs will be returned to CMDR if anything changes in the homes situation.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
