Hi there, I'm Bunnie! I'm just a little 5-month old puppy. I look like a bunny when I hop around on my little legs, hence the name.

Some folks think I’m a little bit “Dachshund” but I get my beautiful brindle coat from my momma, who's a Feist mix. I can hang with the big dogs and I love wrestling around with my foster siblings. I also love cuddling in human arms and if you pick me up I'll lay my little head right on your shoulder and close my eyes. I'm working on being house trained and love licking faces. Everyone who meets me falls in love.

If you want to see if you and Bunnie are a match, go to www.momsrescueva.org and complete an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunnie, a Richmond Feist/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist/Dachshund for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Feist/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist/Dachshund breeders who help with Feist/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
