Benji's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Benji's Story...
Benji is such a special little guy. He ended up in the shelter all alone with a broken leg. He is lucky, though, as he gets to keep his leg and it did not require surgery! This means he might have a permanent limp, but that doesn't slow him down at all. Despite his rough start in life, Benji is just as sweet and playful as can be. He loves to snuggle and PURRS like crazy! He is a complete doll baby and makes friends wherever he goes. Because he is so social he would do best in a home with other cats or pets, or humans who are home a lot! He is neutered, vetted, microchipped, and has had age appropriate vaccinations. His adoption fee is $75 and he is fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but is not picky about where he ends up.
To talk with his foster mom, please email info@FORrescue.net. If you'd like to complete a cat application, it isn't binding and will get things started! Visit www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
