Dexter's Story...
Hi Everyone!
My name is Dexter and I’m a sweet, silly and very adorable little Cavachon (That’s a bichon King Charles Cavalier mix) I’m 4 weeks old, weigh 2.09 pounds and am just as cute as I can be! I’m a loving and gentle little pup with brindle-colored hair and the more independent one of my pack. Every day I learn new things which I share with my siblings. Why, I’ve already learned about the sun and grass and how to walk and play. Whee! Being a puppy is such fun!

There are four of us (two boys and two girls) in my family and we are adorable and adoptable! Please be sure to complete an adoption application – so we can get to know one another. You can meet me now — and I can go home with you in mid-September. In the meantime I will continue to learn as much as I can and get ready for my forever home.
Tail wags and puppy kisses,

Delectable and Demonstrative Dexter

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a La Costa Bichon Frise/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
