Important Note

Champ is best friends with Snowy. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
DOB March 10, 2005. Champ is a lovely, sweet senior gentleman looking for a forever home to enjoy his golden years. His favourite things are being brushed and cuddled, sleeping and eating, in that order! Like many Siamese cats, he has a big voice and likes to use it, mainly to tell you when he wants some hugs and kisses. He is a very tender-hearted, gentle cat who doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. Though he doesn't sit on laps, Champ loves to hang out with his human friends on the couch and cuddle next to you in bed.
Champ has a sensitive stomach and is doing very well on a limited-ingredient diet. His most recent blood tests show the very early stages of kidney disease, which is not uncommon for a cat his age, but it has not required treatment yet. Despite having dental work while in foster care, Champ will likely require more dental work in the near future, so potential adopters will have to account for this expense.
Champ is bonded with his brother, Snowy, and they must be adopted together. The boys are quite independent and tend to do their own thing, but they do love to groom each other, which is very cute to watch.
Champ wants nothing more than to be your best buddy and live a simple, quiet life. He is a real darling who makes quick friends with everyone.
Will you give Champ a second chance at a great life?

Thank you for giving two best friends a loving forever home together and thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated versus our standard adoption fee of $175.

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
