Ellie's Story...
Meet Ellie! This beautiful girl is so stunning, playful, and quite the talker! She is approx. 2 years old. She gets okay with dogs and could do okay with another cat whose personality is laid-back.

She craves human attention and will follow you around the house. She does seem to have a 'crabby button' and will give you the 'leave me alone face.' It usually doesn't last long. She's a little bit of a Diva!

Adoption Donation is $100.

Contact this STH animal's foster mom at blueroomrescue@yahoo.com for an application today! We pride ourselves in contact with potential adopters within 24 hours so you won't be left waiting!!

All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neutering. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, given age appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this feline a wonderful forever life in a permanent home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Wyandotte Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Wyandotte, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Wyandotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wyandotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wyandotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wyandotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
