Hi, my name is Cocoa. I’m a senior chocolate poodle and I’ve been told that I am very sweet. I am very loving as well, if I do say so myself. I get along great with other dogs and I love to cuddle with my people. Although, very unfortunately, my beloved owner that I normally cuddle with passed away so I am now with a foster parent. I enjoy long romantic walks by leash and relaxing with humans, watching TV and just hanging out. One of my favorite movies is The Fast and the Furriest. I am in excellent health and will be able to be your fuzzy companion for many years to come. If you would like a dog who is adorable, snuggly and fun then I am the perfect pet for you!

Update from foster: I am also good with cats, how about that?  I also know my name when called, and am quiet in my crate.  Cocoa is very sweet and loves to cuddle with her human. Would be a great only dog or with other dogs. Just wants to be someone's baby girl.

Since Cocoa’s estimated birthdate is 8/17/2004, her adoption fee is reduced to $75.  If you want to know more about Cocoa and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at  Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

About Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters

About Our Rescue Group...

Furkids/SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society, Inc. is a 501c)(3), tax-exempt organization dedicated to find loving families for homeless dogs in the Atlanta area. Every year, over 90,000 animals are killed in Georgia shelters. Our volunteers rescue many dogs from local shelters and foster them in their own homes until a suitable forever home is found. We do not shy away from taking sick or difficult dogs into our program. Thanks to donations, we are able to provide excellent medical care for all of our little orphans. Our volunteers work tirelessly on training, socializing, and giving the dogs all of the loving care that they so much deserve. Thanks to our friends and supporters, we have been able to save many lives in each of years. It is caring individuals like you who can make a difference in the lives of our wonderful orphan animals. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, and come visit us at Petco in Sandy Springs, every Saturday from 12 noon til 4 pm.
