Important Note

Fluffy is best friends with Chester. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Fluffy is a 2-3 year old sweet, gentle, female Dutch bunny who is used to living indoors with children, dogs, and cats. She is bonded to 5 year old Chester. If interested, you must adopt both bunnies as well as provide your own housing and supplies.
We try to ensure the best possible match between animal and adopter. Remember that this is a lifetime commitment. You will be asked to sign a legal contract when adopting one of our rabbits and you must pay a fee of $25 per rabbit. This fee includes spaying or neutering. The fees go directly to the vet bill to cover medical care. Keep in mind the following points:
Rabbits must be housed indoors only.
You need to expect to provide the rabbit with a minimum of 30 hours of uncaged time per week.
Rabbits may not be declawed.
Indoor rabbits live an average of 8 - 10 years. We are looking for those special adopters who will make every effort possible to keep their companion for the entire life of the rabbit despite lifestyle changes (divorce, moving, etc.)
Rabbits may not be adopted as gifts. Please read about rabbit personality and care before applying. Thank you for your time!

About MAS Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We operate a small rescue organization that is determined to help unwanted shelter animals whose time has run out, and their destiny seems perilous. Maryland Animal Sanctuary & Rescue Organization is supported by a select few who have the same passionate desire to save as many shelter animals as possible. We are currently incorporated in the state of Maryland, and have been approved for Non-Profit status. Some of our animals come from far away, others come from local Maryland shelters, still others are displaced homeless animals found on the streets. All the animals are "fostered" out of volunteers' homes. They are socialized with children, other animals, and are exposed to normal family life. We do take each animal for a vet check, have them vaccinated, de-wormed etc... If an animal is 22 weeks or more, they will always be spayed/neutered. We require an adoption application, a signed contract and payment of the adoption fee. We will also do a 2 week follow-up check and a 6 month check-up including veterinarian follow-up on your new companion. If you are interested in adopting any of our furry four-legged friends, please visit for an adoption application. Please keep in mind: We will not ship animals, but will consider reasonable transport for the perfect home! The animals and I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for considering adoption from a rescue organization!
