Hobbs's Story...
Meet Hobbs! Hobbs is an American Bully, approximately 75lbs of love and slobber.. He is about 2/4 years old. Hobbs would love to have a couch to call his own.. He would be a wonderful addition to a laid back family that isn't to active for him. He has bursts of energy but calms right down. He's a big, extremely strong boy we would recommend older children due to the fact he's a little rough around the edges and doesn't realize his own strength and will likely knock little ones over.. He's done well with other dogs he's met but can be a little overwhelming for some dogs with his rough style play. He's yet to be cat tested but we would recommend very dog savvy cats or a home with no cats at all.

Please fill out an application and review our adoption procedures on our website at www.soulmuttsrescuect.org. Hobbs is currently being fostered in a private foster home in Colebrook, CT. Please note that all dogs in rescue are in private foster homes and meet and greets are by appointment only with approved applications. Hobbs adoption fee is $350..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hobbs, a Colebrook American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog for sale in Colebrook, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Colebrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colebrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colebrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colebrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
