Meet Brandywine. Her approximate age is estimated at 6 months to 1.5 years. She is an Aussie Catahola mix, and is a lean medium sized dog at 50 lbs.
She is potty trained and crate trained and she walks well on her leash.
She is crate trained but does chew on anything left near or in the crate, excluding a blanket we keep on the bottom of the crate. She will chew through pillows! She doesn’t try to escape the crate and she’s very calm and quiet when she’s in the crate.
Brandywine is lean, has a beautiful coat and doesn’t shed (not enough for us to notice). She has a hound face and body shape, with Aussie herding behavior.
She had kennel cough and parvo when we first received her as a foster dog. She has since recovered and is a normal playful active young dog.
She is very shy when meeting new dogs or people. Once she sees my personal dogs greet people, she immediately joins them. She was very shy when she first met my personal dogs. She is very non aggressive. She has not had any interactions with young children or cats.
Her energy level is high. She loves to play and run and whip her body around. She’s quite demanding when it comes to paying attention to her. She loves to cuddle, every chance she gets. She is attached at the hip with my personal young dog and would greatly benefit from having another dog in the home to help her come out of her shell and to have someone to run with. She is a jumper – she hasn’t jumped over our standard fence but has certainly cleared the back of the couch multiple times. She does like to destroy shoes…flip flops are her specialty.
She has been spayed.
