My name is Pozzi and I am lab/boxer mix. I am a huge goofball that loves to play with other dogs and my people. I weigh 62 lbs and am 13 months old as of 9/23/16 . I play well with big dogs and little dogs. Currently my co-foster is a 4 month old Chi puppy and we wrestle around on the dog bed all the time. She ends up standing on me a lot and flopping over on me, and I don’t mind one bit. I’m very gentle with her and we have a good time. With dogs my size, I have the normal type of play big dogs do….chase in the backyard, wrestling, play bowing, etc. If you ever needed to take me to doggy day care, I would be a favorite of the staff and other dogs because I like everyone.
My foster parents say I have a very gentle demeanor. Foster dad will wrestle and play tug with me and when he says “enough” I sit quietly and wait to see what we are going to do next. I don’t keep trying to play. They think I would be excellent with kids because of my demeanor. When I’m not playing, I like to sit at foster mom’s or dad’s feet. I just like to hang out with them and chill. I take treats gently and don’t bit your fingers. I am house trained and spend my day in a sunroom when my foster parents are not home. I just hang out on a bed for the most part, or play with my toys. I’m not a barker, except when the other dogs start.
Lastly, I am undergoing heartworm treatment and can go to my new home after Halloween. I can be pre-adopted. If you think you would like to meet me, please put in an application at www.angelsrescue.org.
