Gracie came to us from a shelter as a puppy. One day her foster parent noticed Gracie wasn't moving. She was rushed to emergency. After examining Gracie the attending veterinarian threw her hands up in the air, ''What do you want me to do, put her down?" No matter how sick Gracie was, putting her down was not an option. We asked for Gracie to be placed in intense care, though her outcome appeared hopeless. Day after day Gracie's foster parents would go to the clinic. Heads would shake. No change in Gracie. Gracie was not moving. Her outcome was growing more grim. On the tenth day Gracie managed to wag her tail! The drugs administered via IV were working! On the 14th day Gracie was released to us. Gracie was soon after adopted to a man who adored her. She was his world. Sadly, the man's life has changed so drastically he finally came to the harsh terms Gracie had to be placed for adoption. Gracie is not just a good dog. She's a great dog! She listens and loves everyone. Gracie is not destructive. Quiet and respectful. If you are looking for a dog that requires no training, is low maintenance and will be a perfect asset to any family, then you have found Gracie. Our Miracle Girl.
