Joey's Story...
Hi, forever family! I'm Joey! If you're the kinda guy or gal who loves puppy snuggles and adventure, I'm your dude. I'm smart, playful, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my people. (As long as you're over 10 years old. Little ones scare me!) If you can't tell from my pictures, I'm a happy guy. My foster mom keeps telling me how soft and silky my fur is, and how cute I am. I'm 5 years old, so I'm house trained and know basic manners. How cool is that? Let's go on a walk together, and I'll show you the world and love on you too. I'm about 25 pounds -- whatever that means -- and up to date on my shots. I've been getting along great playing with my fur foster sister and fur foster brother, so I'm open to living with the right dog or kitty -- as long as I'm in a home of my own with a family who loves me! Hope that family is you!"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Marlton Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Marlton, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Marlton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marlton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marlton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marlton paves the way for another one to be saved.
