Meet Crown! Crown is everything you love about a dog! He is kid friendly, cat friendly, and loves to play with other dogs. He likes to give hugs, kisses, and will lean against you and ask for pets or belly rubs. And if you don't give him the attention he wants, he barks at you just to let you know. Crown loves to go for walks and play with his toys. He is a smart boy who is crate trained, potty trained and knows 'sit.' He is about 10 months old and weighs 45 pounds!

If you're interested in adopting Crown, please visit our website to learn about our adoption process and to fill out an application, here. All of our dogs will be micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption.

Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. Further, because 'pit bull terrier type dog' is not a breed we can list and because this dog has a blocky head and other characteristics that make the public perceive him/her as a pit bull, we are listing him/her as a pit bull mix. However, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.
