My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Keeper!
Keeper truly pulled on our street team’s heart strings. He was found wandering the streets all by himself, emaciated, limping and with such sadness in his face that they could not leave him behind after they fed him. They scooped him right up and he was the happiest pup ever. His tail just wouldn’t stop wagging, he was so happy to finally get some attention and care at the hospital that he wagged his tail so hard it bled. Now after having been in boarding for a few month his happiness is slowly disappearing. We know he wonders why he has to be in his kennel all by himself every day.

Keeper is about 18 months old and weighs around 40 pounds. He is eager to please his people and has excellent leash skills. He keeps his kennel clean and pretty much minds his own business. Keeper enjoys playing with other dogs of any size and is more on the submissive side. He has become quite shy and that sadness in his face is starting to show again. Kennel life is getting to our boy. Keeper wants you to know that he is a good boy, not a trouble maker. He truly is a keeper…he just needs a chance to prove this to you.

**Keeper is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $275. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $75, and several locations in the northeastern US for $175.

The adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
