Keeper's Story...
Introducing Keeper!
Keeper truly pulled on our street team’s heart strings. He was found wandering the streets all by himself, emaciated, limping and with such sadness in his face that they could not leave him behind after they fed him. They scooped him right up and he was the happiest pup ever. His tail just wouldn’t stop wagging, he was so happy to finally get some attention and care at the hospital that he wagged his tail so hard it bled. Now after having been in boarding for a few month his happiness is slowly disappearing. We know he wonders why he has to be in his kennel all by himself every day.

Keeper is about 18 months old and weighs around 40 pounds. He is eager to please his people and has excellent leash skills. He keeps his kennel clean and pretty much minds his own business. Keeper enjoys playing with other dogs of any size and is more on the submissive side. He has become quite shy and that sadness in his face is starting to show again. Kennel life is getting to our boy. Keeper wants you to know that he is a good boy, not a trouble maker. He truly is a keeper…he just needs a chance to prove this to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keeper, a Seattle Hound (Unknown Type)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
