Meet Charlie! He is a fun loving, energetic, intelligent and affectionate 3 year old lab mix. Due to some misguided training techniques used early on in his life, Charlie unfortunately developed leashed based reactivity towards other dogs. He has been successfully working with a dedicated group of volunteers and has made strides in his behavior. As a result, Charlie does enjoy the company of other dogs as long as care is taken to introduce them properly.
Charlie enjoys children a great deal but he will likely do best around older kids and adults .
Charlie can sit, down, heel, stay, come, give paw and crawl! The possibilities of what he could learn are truly endless! He is a very focused dog, looking to be engaged by his guardian(s) in any way they can. He enjoys going on long walks, wading in the water, playing ball, being brushed and his favorite BELLY RUBS!
Charlie needs a home that is committed to continuing his training, and willing to engage his mind and body with lots of exercise and stimulation! What a rewarding opportunity this is to change Charlie's life forever! He will reward you in return with his undying loyalty and devotion.
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
