Facts about Ranger

  • Breed: Siamese
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Medium
Ranger was laying in the crevice of two rocks on broken glass with a large cut on his leg, covered in burrs, infested with fleas, unable to "meow", and lethargic nearing death. It took about 12 hours to remove the burrs, his tail had to be shaved due to the fact that it was covered completely with burrs. His first food was a slice of a watermelon, including the rind. He chased that down with some salmon we had and his next few consisted of eating and sleeping to gain strength. Ranger was found at "Elephant rock" at the "Ranger station" where locals of Tuolumne county swim. His name was Ellie- after Elephant Rock, until we learned he was male, and, as one may say...he was was large and in charge.. So Ranger it was.
Ranger is a sweet kitty, he prefers the indoors but goes outside when encouraged, He likes to be pet, and, when he is finished, he will tell you. He is not a bully, lives well with other cats and dogs, but will not tolerate them harassing him. Ranger is between 1 and 2 years old.

About Fat Kitty City

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission Statement
The Agee Memorial Wildlife Fund, Inc., (Agee) is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches.

Our objectives are:
Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets.

When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family.

Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care.

To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering.

Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around).

Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc.

Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.

Come Meet Our Pets...
