Remi's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Remi's Story...
Remi is a beautiful Wirehaired Pointing Griffon/Lab mix, 2 years old. This photo doesn't show off his bright reddish orange coat. Remi and his friend Ruger a German Short Hair/Lab mix, are ready to shed horn or bird hunt with you. We were told they were trained specially for these activities although have not tested them. These active dogs will need someone who is familiar with the breed in order to provide the attention they crave. They are good with kids and other dogs but not cats or chickens. Remi and Rugar are very sweet and love interaction with people. They have been together since puppies but are not necessary to adopt together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remi, a Grants Pass German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
