Skywalker is a sweet pup that was found when he was around 6 to 8 months in January 2016 out in the cold at an apartment complex in Memphis, TN, eating out of a dumpster. The couple that found him fell in love but were unable to keep him in their apartment as they already had one dog so a friend suggested her aunt who is in rescue and she took him in.
He is now a little over a year old and has been neutered and fully vetted. He is a happy go lucky fellow who loves to play for hours with his pittie foster sister and his other smaller foster siblings. He loves the outdoors and loves to go for walks. He's kind of a zig-zagger when he walks but is getting better all the time and has been using a halter for walks. He likes to identify plants as he walks, by taking a taste of almost every plant he sees. We think he is a Pointer mix and he's even starting to stop and lift his foot when he's out walking and thinks he sees something.
He is still a pup with some puppy ways and likes to chew so he will need to be confined when by himself or kept busy or doggie daycare would be perfect for this boy since he loves to play. He is is used to going on a few short walks a day and does his business on those walks! He is looking for an active home with or without a canine sibling!
