Simon's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Simon's Story...
Simon is a senior hound mix about 8 years old and weighs 45lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots.
I just can't say enough about Simon...he is so sweet, perfect temperament, gentle but loves to run around a bit and act like he hasn't a care in the world. What a great attitude he has. He gets along fantastic with cats, dogs, infants...humans of all sizes. Simon is the meaning of gentleman.
He had been given much of nothing in his past life and in spite of that he knows only today and that he is happy and sweet despite it all. We are currently treating him for heart worm disease but he is on his way to full recovery!
If you are looking for an awesome senior dog, Simon is going to give you all he has and that IS A LOT 😍
Please go to K9newlife.org and fill out an application for this special man...he really deserves a great home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Virginia Beach Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
