If you'd like to find out more information about our adoption procedure or to apply for this dog paste this into your browser: http://poochesonthemove.net/adoption-info-application/Alibi is a a sweet loving dog, a little bit of a senior at 10 and half years old, but full of spunk when it comes to hunting blue tail lizards. Don’t know her breed but may have a touch of hound looking at her ears. At around 25 pounds, she is up-to-date on all vaccines and preventives, is completely house and crate trained. After the last potty at night I say “time to go to bed” and she goes right to her crate even though I’ve never trained her to do that. She will sleep in the bed with you and she likes to get as close as possible. She loves to cuddle either with you or a soft cushy fleece blanket. She’s a sun loving dog and is content lazing around outside. Because she has very short hair (and none on her belly), she needs a little help when it’s cold and she looks stunning in a pink and white striped fleece jacket. She’s people and dog friendly, loves car rides and walks. She has not been around children since coming into my care. Being a senior girl, she will doze given the chance but she’s always ready to be on the go. She currently lives with a pack of 4 other dogs so she knows how to share.

About Pooches & Purrs Cooperative - Harrisonburg, VA

About Our Rescue Group...

Pooches & Purrs Cooperative is a group of rescues and individual rescuers that are working hard to find loving homes for the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies that find their way into our care through no fault of their own. Each individual or group has several wonderful dogs In Tennessee, Alabama or Kentucky looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $500 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.
Our rescues don't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. At times, a dog may be in foster care in New England and their bio will clearly be marked as such so you will know. These southern dogs & cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the pet can be rehomed appropriately if things don't work out. Each group tries hard to get good matches in your homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date the cooperative has placed over a two thousand dogs and puppies, cats and kittens in loving New England homes! Each group has many, many, references of happy adopters up in your area that can fill you in on their experience. Just email and they can pass along that information for your convenience. Thanks!
