Casper's Story...
Meet Casper! Despite all that Casper has been through in his short life, this is one fun-loving dog! Casper is happy, playful, silly, wiggly, and super affectionate. He is still very much a puppy at only 9 months old. Casper is a social kind of guy and he's asked us to help find him find an active family that is social, happy and busy, just like he is. He'd love to have another dog he can pal around with and humans that are eager to take him hiking, throw him a ball (or stick, or stuffy...) to fetch, run amok and play. He just wants to be with you! Good with dogs and kids. Cats unknown. Age 9 months. 52 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Washoe Valley Irish Terrier/Irish Wolfhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Terrier/Irish Wolfhound for sale in Washoe Valley, or seeking a Irish Terrier/Irish Wolfhound puppy from a breeder in Washoe Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washoe Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washoe Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Terrier/Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Irish Terrier/Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washoe Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
