Up for adoption: Lydia!

She can be adopted in Texas.

Lydia is a 2 year old black lab mix, who is 60 pounds and incredibly sweet! Lydia acts like a human - she is incredibly easy to fall in love with! Her personality is very unique - she loves to try to communicate with her people, and is incredibly smart. She wants to be with her people so much that she will even try to block them from leaving with her front paws! Lydia is great with kids of all ages, including a toddler that she lives with. She loves to snuggle and watch tv with her foster family. Lydia is happiest with a member of her family by her side!

Lydia lives with other dogs and does enjoy playing with them, but would also enjoy being an only dog with her own family where she receives all of the attention. Lydia knows some commands, like “sit” and “lie down,” and walks well on a leash. She is house trained, but not a huge fan of the crate.
