Roxie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Roxie's Story...
Roxie is a 5-6 year old Pit bull. She is very laid back and loves to lounge in the sun and take car rides with her owners. She is spayed, up to date on all shots and is heart worm negative and on preventatives. She loves children and would thrive in a home with kids. She also likes cats and small dogs. She is working with a trainer on how to be social with big dogs. She lived with a boxer in one of her homes and got along fine with him after an adjustment period. Trainer says she CAN learn how to play and interact peacefully with the bigger dogs because she is smart and learns quickly. Free training for Roxie and her adopters will be provided by The Pet Connection. She is a very sweet, loving dog and & "goes with the flow". All medical records and training notes and suggestions will be available to her new owner.

Roxie's adoption fee is $175 and includes all of the above care. Please email us at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Overland Park Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
